It is often best to clear these in case there are Elites in with Andariel that you might want to pull out. You will descend into a small room with a door into the Antechamber. It makes getting back after an unfortunate accident without your good gear much easier and safer. Especially the first few times you try this on a given difficulty level, and doubly so if you are relying on an item for teleport, it is a great idea to drop a Town Portal at the top of these stairs. So, you will eventually find the stairs down to Catacombs 4. As always, teleport or Enigma are very useful here. Just head in a direction, find the edge, and circle the zone. Unfortunately, no pattern for Catacombs 3 has been found, other than the observation that the stairs down are generally on an edge. The level has several different layouts, but if you turn right out of the initial area and head in that direction, you generally find the stairs more quickly. ![]() This is almost always the quickest way to reach the stairs down to Catacombs 3. How to Farm Andariel in Diablo II: Resurrected It's surprisingly handy, and after all an antidote or a Full Rejuvenation is cheaper than resurrecting Jemali. Remember, the duration (though not the effect) does stack, so you can get a full minute of buffed poison resist easily for less than 200 gold.Īnother thing you can do is to hot-key feeding your mercenary an antidote, or even bind that to a foot pedal if you have one and you do this a lot. Hold your nose and chug one or two before you start the fight to up your poison resist if needed, too. ![]() It's therefore a good idea to come stocked with Antidote potions. While you can use the pillars and other features in her throne room to avoid her poison if you are doing ranged damage, your mercenary cannot or will not depending on which one you use. Cold works fine, and it slows her attacks as well. So, if you have another choice, don't use poison against her. She is a strong poison user, and she herself is quite resistant to poison.
